WOOD CONTAINER DRYING

The drying in a drying chamber is one of the fastest and easiest ways to achieve an increase in value for timber and firewood.

The drying period, which depends on the wood thickness, output moisture and type of wood, is important for the drying of timber, pallet wood and firewood. In order to maintain the high quality of the wood, it is essential to dry it very slowly, or else cracking and discolouration occur.

Sometimes, wood meant for joinery requirements has to stay in the drying chamber for several weeks, until the wood moisture content has reduced to 8-10%. Firewood, on the other hand, does not require careful drying. In this case, the speed at which it can be dried until the wood moisture content is down to 20% counts.

The possible applications of our cross-flow current drying chamber are versatile. With our partner companies, we offer you an attractive modular system. Please feel free to contact us.
