STEEL PIPES

The delivery program of factory made, insulated pipes with service pipe made of steel includes the full range of pipes, shaped pieces, and fittings for the complete construction of district heat and hot water systems with the following diameters of the service pipe:

  • in the single pipe version from DN 20 to DN 1000 mm
  • in the double pipe version from DN 20 to DN 200 mm

With shot peening, each steel service pipe is cleaned to the first degree of cleanliness before being insulated.

PRE-INSULATED STEEL PIPES

Factory made multilayer piping made up of:

A steel service pipe, which is centrically located in a casing pipe made of high density polyethylene (PEHD), an insulation type standard or plus, and a rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) in the space between the two pipes.

They are produced as rods with a standard length of 6 or 12 m. The factory made, insulated pipes and shaped pieces with diameters of up to DN 200 mm stay on a length of 150mm ±10mm  at the end. With diameters of over DN 250 mm, they stay on a length of 200 mm ±10 mm without insulation.

Two steel service pipes, which are located in the PEHD-casing pipe, made of an insulation type standard or plus and a rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) in the space between the service pipes and the casing pipe. They are produced as rods with a standard length of 6 or 12 m.

The ends of the factory made pipes and shaped pieces stay on a length of 150mm ±10mm  without insulation. The tolerance of the distance between the flow service pipe and the return service pipe is ± 1 mm for the measurement at the pipe end and ± 2 mm for the measurement at arbitrary points within the double pipe system.
